During field trials in Catalonia, a yield level of 12,000–13,000 kg/ha was recorded. Resistance to infestation by the maize stem borer Sesamia nonagrioides was noted at 3.3%, and to fungal infection by Fusarium spp. at 1.3% of stalks.
