SY Nordicstar belongs to the S 180 maturity group on the FAO scale and is intended for silage production. The plant is distinguished by very rapid spring development and a low ear position on the stalk.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to Fusarium ear rot, smut diseases and leaf spot. Good lodging resistance is also noted, which contributes to the preservation of crop quality and volume up to harvest.
