10 August 2026
The plant has a short stem height. The tassel is distinguished by a small angle between the main axis and the lateral branches, which are present in medium numbers, and their position is most often straight or slightly curved.
Anthocyanin coloration of the tassel glumes, silks, and brace roots is absent or very weak. The hybrid is the result of conventional breeding without the use of genetic modification methods and is used in biochemical grain research.
When referring to the variety, it is important to note that the designation ZP225 can refer to both the final hybrid and the breeding parent lines.
