Argyranthemum frutescens is used to create floral masses and fill gaps in mixed borders, producing a flowering carpet effect due to its lacy foliage and profuse blooms. To maintain ornamental quality from July to October, aggressive deadheading is necessary to stimulate the formation of new buds and prevent seed set.
When planting in groups, good air circulation is critical, as the crop is sensitive to moisture stagnation. Plants should be placed in full sun in fertile soil, maintaining a spacing of 30 cm. Modern compact varieties, 25–40 cm in height, allow for the creation of flower beds without the use of plant growth regulators.
