Variety description

The plant is an upright, slow-growing shrub reaching a height of 200–240 cm in 10–20 years. Leaves are palmate-dissected, having five narrow segments with downward-curled edges.
In spring, the foliage is bright red, darkens to burgundy in summer, and acquires a fiery red hue in autumn. The variety is suitable for small gardens and container cultivation.
The maple prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soils with slight acidity and placement in sun or partial shade. The plant requires protection from strong winds to prevent drying of leaf edges.
