Variety description

The variety has a weeping form with branches hanging densely along the trunk. In the absence of trunk training, the plant is capable of functioning as a ground cover.
The leaves are wine-red in color in spring, turn bronze-green in summer, and return to a wine-red shade in autumn. Flowering occurs in May.
The plant is winter hardy and intended for ornamental gardening, including single plantings and landscape design.
