Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 1.5–2 meters after 10 years; under favorable conditions, an adult plant can reach 2.4–4.6 meters. The variety has the ability to branch intensely, forming a dense shrub.
Young leaves and shoots in spring are chocolate-brown or dark green in color. In the period after the summer solstice, a second wave of growth begins, during which new shoots acquire a bright red color that persists on the branches during the winter period.
The variety is used in landscape design as a solitary plant or an accent plant and is suitable for container cultivation. It is resistant to low temperatures, but is susceptible to the risk of Verticillium wilt.
