Variety description

The plant forms an upright, eventually spreading crown. At maturity, it reaches a height of 3–4 meters with a width of 2–3 meters. The growth rate is estimated as slow to moderate.

A distinctive feature is the finely dissected leaves, consisting of 5 lobes. Their color changes from dark purple in spring to bronze-green in summer and bright red in autumn. Small purple-red flowers appear in spring.

The variety prefers sheltered locations protected from wind and direct sun, partial shade, as well as fertile, humic, slightly acidic, and well-drained soils. Frost resistance is up to -15 °C. The plant is sensitive to drought and sunburn.
