The variety is an ornamental form of maple with a narrow columnar crown and dark green foliage. In trade, saplings are encountered as grafted forms, the height of which in containers reaches 400–420 cm.

The plant possesses winter hardiness and is distinguished by a healthy foliage condition. The variety is intended for use in gardens, parks, and urban landscaping for the creation of columnar tree forms.
