The variety possesses a very narrow columnar crown shape. Tree height varies from 5 to 20 meters. The foliage has a coloration characteristic of the species; in spring, the tree blooms with yellow flowers on leafless branches, and in autumn, the foliage turns yellow or yellow-orange tones.
The plant possesses good winter hardiness, corresponding to climate zones 1–5 or 6. The variety is sensitive to waterlogged, compacted, or poorly drained soils, where branch damage and frost cracks are possible. The tree is intended for decorative use in urban conditions, including narrow streets and group plantings.
During variety trials, no significant differences were identified between the variety RAKET® E and the Dutch clone Mauritz Upright, due to which the sale of the latter in Scandinavian countries is restricted.
