The variety is a small tree about 4–5 meters in height. Upon opening, the leaves have a bronze tint, later becoming variegated, retaining their light coloration for a long time. Small yellowish-green flowers appear in inflorescences in May–June.
The plant is adapted to various conditions, prefers sunny locations or partial shade, and well-drained fertile soils. The variety withstands temperature drops down to -34°C. Used for solitary plantings, creating color accents, and forming alleys, often grown on a standard.
