Variety description

The tree reaches a height of 13–20 meters. The five-lobed leaves have an orange hue in spring, turn dark green on top and burgundy on the bottom in summer, and become golden-yellow on top and bright pink on the bottom in autumn. The leaf petioles are bright red, and the bark of mature wood is grey-green.
Flowering occurs in March. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness down to –30 °C (USDA zone 4b), high resistance to powdery mildew, and moderate resistance to leaf spot. It tolerates urban conditions and soil salinity well, but is sensitive to prolonged droughts.
