Large tree with a rounded or ovoid crown, reaching a height of up to 30 meters and a width of 15–20 meters. The trunk is straight, maintained at a significant height. The bark is glaucous-gray, scaly, and prone to peeling.
Leaves are opposite, dark green, 15–20 cm long, turning golden-yellow in autumn. In May-June, the tree blooms with yellowish-green flowers in drooping inflorescences, forming brown samara fruits.
The variety possesses wind resistance and is suitable for cultivation in high-altitude conditions. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and permeable calcareous soils. It is used in solitary plantings or for street landscaping and is a plant beneficial to bees.
