Variety description

The variety is a compact form of aconite with a height of 25 to 50 cm. The plant forms a dense bush with deeply dissected dark green foliage. Bright blue or purple helmet-shaped flowers may be positioned lower on the stems than in other varieties, creating the effect of denser flowering.

Flowering occurs from June–July to August. The variety has winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9) and is resistant to diseases and pests. Due to its dwarf form, the plant does not need support. All parts of the aconite are poisonous.
