Aeschynanthus «Mira» is a trailing ornamental crop intended for cultivation in hanging baskets or on shelves. The plant possesses glossy green leaves characteristic of the genus and flowers whose shape resembles lipstick.

The variety was used in laboratory studies to examine the effect of cytokinins on the in vitro propagation process of Aeschynanthus, where its efficiency was compared with other species.
