Variety description

The plant is a compact, upright bush 45–60 cm tall and about 60 cm wide. The deep green foliage has a characteristic anise or licorice aroma. Flowering continues from early summer to autumn, accompanied by the appearance of dense, light blue spike-like inflorescences.

The variety has good winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 5–10 and drought tolerance after the establishment period. The plant is used in landscape design for borders, mass plantings, and container gardening, and it also attracts pollinators and hummingbirds.
