The plant has elliptic or broad pointed leaves with a marbled or speckled pattern. The leaf coloration combines a silvery-green central part and a dark margin, sometimes with pinkish veins. In some publications, the name is used as a collective term for a group of hybrids with similar coloration.

The variety is slow-growing and reaches a height of 50 to 100 cm. It blooms rarely in indoor conditions, forming a spadix inflorescence typical for the Araceae family, which may be followed by the formation of red fruits. The plant is toxic if ingested due to the presence of irritant sap.

The cultivar is intended for interior landscaping and is considered low-maintenance. The plant is capable of adapting to diffused lighting, but is sensitive to overwatering, which may lead to rotting of the root system.
