The plant is an evergreen perennial of the Araceae family. At a young age, the shoots are upright; as it matures, the bush becomes more spreading, dense and compact. The variety was obtained by hybridization of Aglaonema commutatum and Aglaonema pictum.

The leaves are dense, leathery and glossy, having an oval shape with a sharp or pointed apex. The length of the leaf blade is approximately 21.8–25.3 cm, the width is 7.8–8.3 cm. In the summer period, it forms a spadix inflorescence; the fruits are red fleshy berries with one seed.

The variety is slow-growing and shade-tolerant, adapting to conditions with low light levels. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging and drafts. Like all Araceae, Aglaonema is a poisonous plant.
