The plant is a compact form reaching a height of 30–40 cm, in some cases up to 50–60 cm. The leaves have a lanceolate, pointed shape with a smooth, glossy surface. Leaf coloration includes a silvery-green central part, a wide dark green border, and a silvery-white midrib.

The variety is adapted to indoor conditions and moderate light levels. The plant is used as an ornamental pot plant for interior landscaping. Like other members of the Araceae family, it is poisonous; the sap may cause irritation upon contact.
