The variety was created with the participation of the Welsh Plant Breeding Station based on selection from populations growing in Southwest Wales. It is classified as an advanced or improved cultivar.
The variety is used in grass mixtures. In particular, its use in combination with other Agrostis varieties in the creation of golf course surfaces is noted. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant are not presented in public sources.
