The plant is a hybrid of Ajuga reptans and Ajuga tenorei. The variety forms a dense carpet of narrow leaves tightly pressed against each other. The foliage color of young plants is orange-golden, transitioning over time to a yellow-tobacco shade with copper central veins. During the winter period, the foliage acquires a copper-bronze color.
The plant height reaches 15 cm with a bush width of up to 45 cm. Flowering is abundant, with cobalt-blue flowers, occurring at the end of spring. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness down to -30°C and resistance to sunburn, which allows it to be grown in full sun.
