The variety belongs to the potato onion group and is preserved in the Swedish National Gene Bank. The bulbs are round to flat-round in shape, and their distinguishing feature is the distinct green color of the flesh. The variety has a strong, pronounced flavor.
During vegetative propagation, it forms clusters with a relatively small number of daughter bulbs. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good keeping quality when stored in dry conditions. In Swedish conditions, planting is traditionally carried out in mid-May, and harvesting occurs in late summer or early autumn.
