The plant forms large, round-shaped bulbs covered with brown scales. The leaves have an erect position, are dark green in color, and are covered with a heavy waxy bloom. The variety is prone to active branching and the formation of daughter bulbs in the nest.

The variety possesses high resistance to Onion yellow dwarf virus (OYDV). The produce is characterized by a mild taste and is suitable for long-term storage. The plant is used as a vegetable crop, including for organic farming.
