10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the long-day group with a maturation period of 110–130 days when grown via the transplant method. The bulbs have a regular round shape, golden-yellow dry scales, white succulent flesh, and are single-centered. The weight of the bulbs under normal cultivation is 250–500 g, and 1 kg or more with intensive care.
The taste of the bulbs is mild and sweet due to a low content of essential oils; the variety is intended for fresh consumption, adding to soups, and freezing. The variety is not intended for long-term storage, maintaining market quality for 1–2 months. Cultivation in sunny areas with fertile soils is recommended; it is a heritage variety.
