Ayoba is an early or early-mid season variety adapted for professional vegetable production. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and a well-developed root system. The formed bulbs have a rounded shape, a thin neck, a small basal plate, and white flesh, and possess excellent keeping quality due to firm dry scales.
The variety shows high resistance to Fusarium basal rot caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cepae. At the same time, it does not possess high resistance to bolting, which requires strict control of sowing dates. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation by direct seeding, transplanting, or for the production of sets.
