Variety description

The variety is late-maturing with a vegetation period of 140 to 150 days. The bulbs have a round or round-rhombic shape, sometimes slightly flattened, and reach a mass of 60–120 g, in individual cases up to 160 g. The dry scales are colored dark yellow straw-gold; the flesh is white, juicy, and firm.

The variety possesses a mild-pungent taste and is characterized by a high concentration of dry matter and vitamin C. Due to its ability for long-term storage, the bulbs retain their quality until spring. The variety is resistant to unfavorable weather conditions, diseases, and bulb hollowness.

Onion for universal use, suitable both for direct consumption and for pickling or preparing various dishes. Recommended for cultivation in amateur gardening and professional production, including for onion sets.
