The variety belongs to the salad types and has a semi-sharp taste. The bulbs have a round-flat or flat shape, are colored purple-red, and their weight varies from 100 to 150 grams.

The plant is mid-season and is distinguished by high keeping quality of the produce. The variety shows relative resistance to such common diseases as neck rot (Botrytis allii) and Fusarium.
