The bulbs have a dense structure, with dry and succulent scales colored dark red or red-violet. Plant height varies from 30 to 50 cm. The period from seedling emergence to mass foliage lodging is 92–95 days.

The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium, downy mildew, root rot, spring frosts, and drought. Maturity after post-harvest curing reaches 98–100%, and the storage life is up to 6–9 months.

The plant is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and processing. It is grown from seeds in an annual crop, through seedlings or sets, and is suitable for mechanized harvesting.
