Variety description

The variety is an early-maturing F1 hybrid with a period from planting to harvest of about 67–100 days. The plant has an upright habit and dark green leaves 25–27 cm in height, which provides good ventilation and convenience during harvest.

Distinctive features of the variety are high tolerance to bulb formation and bolting, as well as resistance to pink root rot. The crop is adapted to high summer temperatures, characterized by product uniformity and the ability to maintain marketability in the field for a long time.

Baja Verde is intended for cultivation in open field for green onions. The variety is valued for the contrasting combination of the white and green parts of the plant, which makes it suitable for bunching and sale in the fresh produce market.
