The variety forms dense, upright dark green leaves and a well-defined white stem. Plants are characterized by high uniformity, are suitable for the fresh market, and are valued for their ease of cleaning.

The variety is intended for cultivation in open field throughout the season; the use of row covers is permitted. The crop possesses good field resistance and shelf life, however, the variety is not winter-hardy.
