The variety is a perennial herbaceous bulbous plant with a height of 35 to 50 cm. The leaves are narrow, strap-like, stiff and upright, have a blue-green hue and are distinguished by their regular shape. Flowering occurs from mid- to late summer, in the period from July to September; the inflorescences have the shape of spherical umbels of a pink-purple color.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness down to -25...-29 °C and drought tolerance. Strong, upright peduncles ensure resistance to lodging. The variety is considered resistant to pests and diseases, but with excessive moisture, especially in the winter period, it may be affected by basal rot or downy mildew. It is used for ornamental purposes in border and group plantings, rock gardens and containers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
