The Flextan F1 hybrid forms a dense stalk of medium length, approximately 20–24 cm. The variety is intended for cultivation both by direct seeding and by the transplant method with a planting depth of at least 17 cm.

The plant possesses high frost resistance and resistance to bolting. It is distinguished by marked resistance to fungal diseases such as Alternaria, Cladosporium, and Phytophthora.
