The plant belongs to fast-growing varieties with a very long blanched stem and pale green leaves. The tendency to form a bulb at the base of the stem in this variety is weak or absent.
The variety is suitable for sowing from January to March for an early harvest or in June for autumn harvesting. Characterized by low winter hardiness. It may show sensitivity to viral diseases, however, it is less susceptible to thrips and possesses partial resistance to some fungal diseases, including Phytophthora porri.
