The variety is intended for summer and early autumn harvesting. The plant forms dark green leaves and a long, relatively thin white stem, the blanched part of which reaches 35 cm. The variety is not prone to bulb formation and possesses resistance to bolting.
Data on the winter hardiness of the variety are contradictory: in some sources it is described as not winter-hardy, in others, the ability to withstand frosts with cover is indicated. Resistance to diseases is noted, although it is recommended to harvest before the period of active spread of rust.
To obtain maximum yield, cultivation via seedlings with sowing at the end of February and regular hilling of plants to increase the length of the blanched part is recommended. The variety is responsive to irrigation during dry periods.
