Variety description

10 August 2026

The Roxton variety is distinguished by a rapid growth rate and upright foliage, colored in shades ranging from green to dark green. An important morphological feature is the significant length of the stem and the absence or extremely weak manifestation of bulb formation at its base.

The plant is valued for the stability and uniformity of its stem shape, due to which it is often used in international documents as a reference for assessing the "absence of bulb formation" trait during variety testing. The variety is intended for cultivation as a commercial crop.
