The Vekan II variety forms bulbs with a diameter of 5–6 cm with an intense purple color, inside which there are about ten cloves. The plant is characterized by a specific structure: a powerful bulb is combined with a relatively thin and weak aerial part.

This variety is early-maturing and suitable for winter cultivation. Due to its morphological features, it is well suited for obtaining an early harvest. The plant possesses resistance, atypical for garlic, to high groundwater levels occurring at a depth of 40–50 cm from the soil surface.

Vekan II exceeds the original Vekan variety in yield indicators. When growing, it is recommended to carefully remove the flowering stalks, as rough pulling can lead to damage to the stem.
