The variety is an herbaceous perennial plant. The flowers have a golden-yellow color; characteristic spots or streaks typical for the species may be present on the petals.

The plant is suitable for planting in flower beds, borders, containers, and patios, and is also considered a crop for cut flower production. It prefers fertile, moist, but well-drained soils and grows well in sun or partial shade.

The variety possesses general disease resistance, however, it can be affected by viral diseases and damaged by slugs. Young plants require mulching during the first winters for protection.
