The plant has a compact and narrow form with densely pubescent shoots. Leaves are sessile, narrow-elliptic or obovate-lanceolate, with an acuminate apex and serrated margin. The upper side of the leaf is dark green and glossy, the underside is medium green, moderately pubescent.

Flowers are collected in branched spicate inflorescences. Petals are blue-violet; there is a characteristic white zone with a grayish center on the lower petal. Sepals are strongly anthocyanized and have a dark hue.

The variety is heat-loving, requires high light intensity, and is resistant to heat, humidity, and drought. The plant is self-cleaning and does not require deadheading. It is used in container culture and landscape design.
