Balangdeum, known under the trade name AngelMist Deep Plum, is a decorative plant with violet-plum colored flowers. Compared to related forms, it is characterized by taller growth and smaller flower size.

The plant is thermophilic and prefers sunny areas with well-drained soil. When grown in conditions of high humidity and poor air circulation, it may be susceptible to aphids and powdery mildew.
