The BALANGWHIM variety belongs to the Angelonia angustifolia species. Compared to the Anwhit variety, the plant is distinguished by a shorter height, broader leaves with moderate to strong gloss on the upper surface, and a larger number of flowering branches. The inflorescences are relatively shorter and contain fewer flowers.

The plant is intended for ornamental gardening and is suitable for growing in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, and for group plantings in flower beds. It is a thermophilic perennial that is cultivated as an annual in most regions due to its lack of frost tolerance.
