The plant possesses elliptical or lanceolate sessile leaves of medium to dark green color with a glossy surface, serrated edges, and slight pubescence. The flowers are gathered in complex racemes, two per leaf axil.

The flower coloration consists of a dark purple lip and nectary. The variety is characterized by taller growth, increased inflorescence length, and larger flowers compared to the Balangbeke variety.
