The variety possesses a relatively small spathe width; in one study, this parameter measured 7.04 cm. The plant can reach significant height, and the leaves can attain substantial width under cut flower cultivation conditions.

In comparative trials with other Anthurium varieties, Aymara demonstrated some of the lowest productivity rates in terms of the number of flowers per plant. The variety is suitable for use both as a pot plant and for cut flower production.
