The variety is a hybrid of Anthurium andreanum and is intended for use in ornamental floriculture. Detailed morphological traits, including growth parameters and disease resistance, are not documented in official registers.

Data on the parental forms of the variety are not publicly available. It should be noted that the trade name Daydream is also used for varieties of chrysanthemum, Cotinus, and Saintpaulia, and is sometimes applied in retail as a descriptive adjective for various Anthurium plants.
