The plant forms a vigorous upright leaf rosette. The petioles are long, massive, thick, slightly curved, with a slightly ribbed surface. The color of the leaves and petioles varies from light green to deep green. The petioles are juicy, aromatic, fleshy, and not hollow inside.

The variety belongs to a maturity group classified as early or mid-early. Historically, it possesses resistance to bolting. Cultivation using the transplant method in rich, light, and moist soils is recommended. It is used fresh, and for the preparation of soups, salads, and side dishes.
