The vegetation period is 60–65 days from transplanting or 80–90 days from emergence. The plant forms a rosette weighing about 1 kg with long (30–60 cm), fleshy, and upright petioles of light green or bluish-green color. The texture of the petioles is crunchy and practically fiberless; the variety does not require mandatory blanching.

The plant possesses resistance to bolting, rust, and blackleg, and is also capable of adapting to hot and dry conditions. The produce is suitable for long-term storage (up to 4–6 weeks) and transportation. The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, and is suitable for the fresh market and various types of culinary processing.
