The variety is an improved form of the species Ardisia crenata. The plant is characterized by a more compact shape compared to the original species, as well as increased density of shoots and foliage. The variety is less brittle and capable of abundant fruit formation.

The main decorative feature is the salmon-colored berries, which remain on the bush throughout the year. The plant is grown as a pot crop and is popular as a decorative element in the autumn-winter period.
