The variety is a 100% male hybrid, which increases yield due to the absence of seed pods. The spears are characterized by straight growth and a diameter of 20–28 mm, with tight heads that are resistant to damage. The plant reaches 150–200 cm in height and forms compact foliage, which facilitates the accumulation of nutrients.
Backlim is a versatile variety for producing white or green asparagus. It can be grown in open field, under film, or in heated greenhouses. The variety possesses high vitality and is suitable for planting on sites where this crop has been grown previously.
When planting, it is recommended to maintain a depth of 18–22 cm. Planting density depends on the type of product: for white asparagus, 3.5–4.5 plants per linear meter is optimal; for green, 4–6 plants. The crop prefers well-drained soils.
