Mondeo is an F1 male hybrid developed with a focus on directing plant energy toward spear development rather than seed formation. During the growing season, plants can reach a height of up to 1.5 meters.

The variety belongs to the very early category. Its spears are characterized as smooth, round, sufficiently thick, possessing a tender texture and high taste qualities. The variety shows resistance to stem diseases.

The variety's produce is versatile and suitable for both professional commercial cultivation and amateur gardening, allowing for the growing of both green and white asparagus.
