The spears of the variety have a dark green color with purple shades at the base and on the apical scales. An important morphological feature is the dense structure of the tip, which remains closed even when reaching full maturity.
The plant possesses good adaptability to climatic conditions, in particular to the conditions of Northern Italy. The variety exhibits partial resistance to rust Puccinia asparagi.
