The Livio F1 hybrid is a vigorous plant forming smooth, conical shoots of medium to large diameter. The average weight of one shoot is about 30–35 g. The stalks are characterized by low fibrousness, and the shoot tip retains a tight structure even when exposed to high temperatures. The color of the shoots is green, with characteristic purple hues on the tip.
The variety is versatile and suitable for cultivation both in the open field and in greenhouse conditions. The plant has good tolerance to abiotic and biotic stresses. There is intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. asparagi) and asparagus rust (Puccinia asparagi).
